Recovery Event

Saturday, April 30th 10am-11:30am

Image

We are THRILLED to be working with with local business bStrong Bellevue!

On Saturday April 30th, we'll be bringing their members some of the best tools out there to help their bodies recover from the stresses of working out.

What we love about bStrong: One thing they specialize in is small group training which can give you a more personal approach to your sessions. They are a locally owned business! Not only do they offer strength, HIIT, and nutrition coaching, but they also take the time to teach recovery and how important it is to include in your training.

If you're a client of ours or a member of theirs, stop by on the 30th and say hello!

Sennin-So Shiatsu

Monday, April 26th 10am-4pm

Sennin-So Shiatsu, translated as "Little Magic", is the rare healing art that Master Sengo Shimizu brought to Seattle from Japan before World War II.  It has been passed down through his family for what is believed to be over 30 generations.  His son, Mike Kazunori Shimizu, took over his shiatsu practice when Sengo passed away. In 2008, Adam Hewitt, owner of The River Stone Shiatsu, began training under Mike.  His training saved Adam's life and career.  Mike taught him more about the body then he could have ever anticipated.  Sennin-So Shiatsu has less then 30 practitioners in the entire world and, as such, Mike asked those he trained to never let his family's art die.

Sennin-So Shiatsu is a specialized Japanese healing art that uses special techniques to improve the body's circulation.  Practitioners work to release stagnant areas of circulation in your body, thus allowing fresh, oxygenated blood to move throughout the body freely.  When circulation is moving at an efficient pace, pressure is relieved off of muscles and tendons and the body's homeostasis becomes balanced.  It is here that optimal health is achieved.

On April 26th, Adam, owner of The River Stone Shiatsu in Kirkland, will be visiting NWCI to give free demos to any clients who would like to try it during their regularly scheduled cryotherapy visit and is available to answer questions about how Shiatsu can help you.

Please note that due to occupancy restrictions, demos will only be offered to those with scheduled appointments.

PEMF Therapy

Friday, February 19th 10am-4pm

Following a major car crash in 2013, Trishann Couvillion became severely injured and spent the next several years dealing with chronic pain and a long list of prescription medication.  Her declining health prompted her to begin a journey to find relief in more natural ways, including Pulse Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy.  She quickly experienced how effective it was at helping her gain relief, but also noticed she was achieving a profound overall well-being and more focused mental clarity. It became clear that she needed to bring this to her own community in Seattle.

PEMF therapy puts pure electromagnetic energy into all 30+ trillion cells in the body, thereby increasing both energy and oxygen content, and rapidly decreasing inflammation, so your cellular system is better equipped and able to heal itself, like it's meant to. Whether you are experiencing pain from injury or recent surgery followed by inflammation and swelling, simply want to improve your physical and athletic performance, or increase your mental well-being, PEMF can help.  PEMF can also help those dealing with long term chronic illnesses.

This video, via the BEMER Group, shows an example of the potential benefits on circulation when using PEMF therapy.

On February 19th, Trishann, owner of Pulse Pro Health in Seattle, will be visiting NWCI to give free demos to any clients who would like to try it during their regularly scheduled cryotherapy visit and is available to answer questions about how PEMF could help you.

Please note that due to COVID-19 occupancy restrictions, demos will only be offered to those with scheduled appointments.
